Cassina Le Corbusier LC3 2-Seat Sofa for sale. Designed by Le Corbusier in 1928, manufactured in Italy by Cassina.

Purchased in November 2002 from Modern Living in Los Angeles (official LA Cassina dealer at the time). Custom ordered in light grey Alcantara Fabric (Suede). Purchased my Loft home in Long Beach, CA then put into storage for years, then shipped to NZ when we relocated back to NZ in 2010, been in storage since.

Please note: This is not a "knock off", it is manufactured by Cassina, the only licensed Italian company authorised to manufacture Cassina Le Corbusier LC3 2-Seat Sofa. Each genuine piece has a stamp under the left arm with the Cassina logo, unique production number, and Le Corbusier signature, please note the photo showing this. Price for this genuine model currently ranges worldwide anywhere from NZ$7,000- $12,000 depending on fabric choice and dealer. This Cassina Le Corbusier LC3 2-Seat Sofa is now over 10 years old, although very well looked after and having spent long periods in storage the fabric does requires light cleaning on the arm rests and the front of the seat cushions. If done professionally it will look brand new, the cushions are modular blocks so easy to pull apart and clean individually rather than have the whole Sofa done. Chrome frame is in excellent condition.

The minimum bid price is also the reserve price, which is set very very low. If you are familiar with this design, Le Corbusier, Cassina, etc or do your homework, this iconic piece speaks for itself. It is as much an art piece as a practical sofa. Time to move it on to let someone enjoy it rather than sitting in storage.
